Thoughts and Prayers

It is with great sadness that we share some very sad news.

Carol Robson, our Achievement Team Leader for Year 7, and Subject Leader for Languages, died very unexpectedly on Saturday 25th April, early in the morning.

She was a fantastic member of staff who cared passionately about all our students and loved working at the academy.  Carol will be greatly missed by both past and present staff and students.

There will be a Celebration of Thanksgiving Service in memory of Carol’s life at St Lawrence’s Church on Thursday 25th June at 4:00pm. All past and present students and their families, along with past and present staff are welcome to attend.

Prior to the service, we are creating a Special Memories book to reflect Carol’s time at the academy and the memories people have of her. So, if you would like to contribute a thought/message/memory/quote…please pop in to our reception where there are some templates on which to write your memories. We will then add them to the Special Memories book.
